Ambassador Çakıl was born in 1972 in Ankara.

Graduated from Middle East Techical University, Department of International Relations in 1996, Çakıl started her career in the NATO Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Çakıl was appointed as Attaché at the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in Dakar during 1999-2000. From 2000 to 2004, she served as a Third and Second Secretary at the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in Beirut. Çakıl worked as Second and First Secretary at the Department of Energy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. During the years 2006-2010 she served as Second Secretary and First Secretary at the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

Between 2011-2021, Çakıl served as Head of Department and Deputy Director General (since 2018) respectively for Consular Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. As of March 15, 2021, Çakıl started her duty as Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye in Manama.

Ambassador Çakıl is married with one child and speaks English and French.
